Job Purpose The Document Control Specialist, acting as a liaison between the Engineering and Manufacturing teams, is responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting, and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation (engineering drawings, project reports, specifications, product proposals, etc) produced by technical teams, projects or departments in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. Nature of Duties Sets up and maintain documents, parts and products in the AGILE system Sets up and maintains part numbers and their parameters (UM, LT, Cost, etc.) in ORACLE Sets up and maintains bills of materials (BOM) Reviews and scrutinizes component parts and BOMs against existing AGILE/ORACLE to prevent part number duplication and performs updates Transfers documents, parts and products from legacy systems (MAGI, ADEPT, QCBD) to AGILE and ORACLE as needed Creates and maintains routers: Enters router information into ORACLE Initiate engineering change orders (ECO) and manage their routing, ensuring their timely review and implementation Implements document, material master and BOM updates and changes based on ECO instructions Distributes documents in response to requests from authorized users Works overtime as required Ability to sit for long periods of time Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Two-year technical degree is preferred Knowledge of design and production implementation is a plus 4-6+ years experience in Document Control Knowledge of AGILE and ORACLE Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English Location 15201 - EMS Pleasant Prairie WI USA - Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 US (Primary) Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
