Location: 130 Edward Jones Blvd., Maryland Heights, MO Onsite/Hybrid/Offsite Hybrid Onsite 4 days a week Work Hours 8:00 4:30
Interview Process & Availability? There will be one video interview with the leader and a member of her staff.
Team Details The leader has a total of 16 people reporting to her. The department is comprised of 5 different workflows and areas of focus which include professional designation, continuing education, BOA licensing, professional networking, and studying.
Reason for the Request Edward Jones offers a financial planning strategies program which requires financial advisors to complete multiple courses and pass assessments. This individual will be responsible for tracking and generating reports on required courses and exam completions and communicating with individuals regarding the same. There are approximately 11,000 financial advisors/CSTs that need to complete the training and exams by the end of 2026. This individual will also work to clear a backlog of legal reviews/legal requests.
Responsibility Summary/Job Description
- Tracking and reporting on required Financial Planning and CE course(s) and exam completions and failures using a third-party vendor site and ServiceNow.
- Communicate course completions and failures to individuals. For example, if someone fails an exam, they will contact them to inform them that they did not pass and that they will need to retake it within 7 days.
- Ensure individuals have access to the training.
- Replying to service requests and providing service and support including answering questions such as: What do I do if I do not pass the exam? Why isn't the course/exam working for me?
- Track the status of legal reviews of training and help to clear the current backlog
Required Qualifications
- Extreme attention to detail (this position is hyper-focused on data and reporting, and there is no room for error)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with a variety of internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Ability to proactively find answers to questions and understand when to escalate questions or circumstances.
- Strong MS Excel skills, particularly as it relates to database management
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow experience is preferred
Additional Information This is a high-profile, high-stakes role, so these individuals will receive extensive training to ensure their success. Individuals with record-keeping expertise, e.g., Registrar or Librarian, would be a good fit for this role.
