Contract Recruiter (3+ Month Contract)

Position Overview

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Oil & Gas Recruiter to support a high-volume hiring environment during a period of continued expansion. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to manage full-cycle recruitment efforts across a variety of operational and corporate roles. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can quickly integrate into the team, manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting from intake meetings through offer stage.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Source, screen, interview, and present qualified candidates for open positions.
• Maintain consistent communication with hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Coordinate interviews and facilitate hiring decisions.
• Prepare and manage employment offers with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
• Support hiring initiatives for operations, industrial, and construction-related positions as needed.
• Manage multiple priorities and adjust quickly to changing business demands.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
• Proven ability to independently manage requisitions and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage recruiting processes with minimal oversight.
• Experience supporting hiring managers and influencing hiring decisions.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience recruiting within oil & gas, energy, industrial, manufacturing, construction, or related industries.
• Experience filling difficult-to-source operational or field-based positions.
• Experience working in a growth-oriented organization.

Software & Systems

• ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Experience with ATS, HRIS, and recruiting platforms.
• LinkedIn Recruiter experience preferred.

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule: Remote Mondays and Fridays; onsite Tuesday through Thursday.
• Houston-based candidates preferred, though qualified candidates in other locations may be considered.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Contract Details

• Initial 3-month contract assignment.
• Strong possibility of extension based on business needs and hiring volume.
• Target start date: Early August 2026.
