Director Neuroscience Service Line - DH

The Director Neuroscience Service Line provides oversight and direction in establishing and
maintaining a system for developing, reviewing, approving and disseminating standards of
clinical practice including, but not limited to: quality, education, advanced practice, and clinical
operations throughout the Ministry. Works collaboratively with medical staff, other clinical
leaders, and ancillary departments to identify opportunities to attain superior quality, safety
and cost management. Accountable for the operational performance of the service line through
the implementation of solution sets, evaluation and management of capital, financial and
human resources, and ongoing performance improvement.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing OR health related field
-Bachelor's is a requirement, doesn't have to be Nursing -just health related. Will take Health Administration, business background is very helpful.
Experience:
• 3 years leadership experience.
3 years of experience working in an ambulatory setting


Other Skills/ Knowledge:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including
proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with
the ability to be detail oriented.
• Need someone who can use data to make transitions, not being afraid to ask questions -think outside of the box. Growing volumes and meeting patients where they are with what they need.
• Proven service line growth in other service lines. Can show leadership in any capacity


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Master's degree in a health related field
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY:
Designs organizational structure, systems, and processes aligned to business need.
Collaborates with clinical leaders in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical
models of integrated care.
Develops a system to measure and monitor quality performance and ensure service line
objectives and associated targets are achieved within approved timelines, while managing
relationships with stakeholders, and achieving high levels of performance and satisfaction.
Leads cross-functional project teams focusing on improved patient experience and health
outcomes for the patient population.
Performs strategic analysis identifying and prioritizing growth areas for the service line.
Establishes and enhances OSF and non-OSF strategic partnerships for the development of
multidisciplinary programs and systems of care.
Fosters and maintains Provider relations including, but not limited to, alignment, recruitment,
oversight, sharing of operational expertise, etc.
Directs full operations of advanced practice clinical services in service line to ensure high quality
advanced practice care is provided to patients and families.
