This position is based at our outpatient therapy office in Winter Haven, Florida. You will be working directly with patients in a hands-on setting, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques and equipment to facilitate rehabilitation and optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities through diagnostic assessments, including muscle, nerve, joint, and functional tests, to create effective treatment plans.
• Direct physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability and relieving pain, while developing and restoring muscle function, all tailored to individual capabilities.
• Oversee and collaborate with physical therapy assistants to ensure the accurate implementation of care plans.
• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families regarding physical therapy interventions and the use of therapeutic devices.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities including manual exercises, traction, and massage to facilitate healing and recovery.
• Adjust and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices, offering necessary recommendations to enhance patient independence.
• Document patient progress meticulously, preparing clinical records such as initial evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries for accurate tracking of patient outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences, collaborating with team members to evaluate and optimize comprehensive treatment strategies for patient performance.
• Consult with healthcare providers regarding modifications to therapy plans based on observed patient progress and response to treatment.
• Ensure timely submission of clinical orders and documentation in compliance with clinic policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will directly influence their rehabilitation journey, helping them regain strength, mobility, and independence. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies.
• Experience implementing treatment plans for diverse populations with varying orthopedic needs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting the experience and skills of the candidate.
