Job Description As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Specialist in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $18.57 / Hour Job Schedule Tue 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM Wed 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM Thur 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM Fri 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM Sat 02:00 PM – 10:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the location, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter access points. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and reporting concerns in accordance with site procedures. Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues, security-related hazards, and/or policy concerns that could impact employees, visitors, or business operations. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
