What You'll Do:

• Perform diagnostic 2D, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients
• Coordinate with hospital departments for exam scheduling and patient transport
• Assist cardiologists during exams, preparing and measuring M-modes, and exchanging exam information
• Respond to patient needs, monitor patient condition, and communicate as needed
• Maintain equipment quality, order supplies, and keep exam rooms organized
• Manage patient records and ensure timely documentation
• Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives
• Provide on-call coverage for emergency echo exams as needed
• Stay current with advances in echocardiography and collaborate with cardiology team for skill development
• Support other cardiac procedures as required

What You Need:

• Valid ARDMS/CCI registration or registry-eligible, or comparable national accreditation
• State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of echocardiogram experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and manual dexterity skills
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations
