What You'll Do

• Assess and treat patients with various impairments, promoting independence in daily activities
• Evaluate each patient before treatment, incorporating physical and psychological factors
• Develop, implement, and monitor customized care plans
• Administer occupational therapy modalities such as splinting, ROM exercises, strengthening, and cognitive retraining
• Communicate treatment progress with physicians and interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and equipment use
• Monitor safety of equipment and adapt treatments based on patient response

What You Need

• Valid New Mexico Occupational Therapist license
• BLS certification from AHA
• One year of occupational therapy experience preferred
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
