Operations Manager

Operations Manager

The successful Operations Manager will provide leadership for a complex manufacturing operation, ensuring world-class performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This leader will oversee day-to-day operations while partnering closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Scheduling, and Supply Chain to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on leadership style, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build high-performing teams in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Core Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or other technical discipline
5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience

Preferred Requirements:

MBA degree
Metals manufacturing experience
Experience in melting, casting, or other highly engineered process environments

Responsibilities:

Lead daily manufacturing operations with accountability for safety, quality, delivery performance, productivity, and cost objectives
Develop and mentor supervisors and hourly personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
Drive operational performance through KPI management, process optimization, and problem-solving initiatives
Partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Scheduling, Purchasing, and supporting functions to ensure uninterrupted operations and customer delivery commitments
Manage resources, budgets, and production plans to maximize throughput and support long-term growth objectives
Provide visible leadership across all shifts while responding effectively to operational issues and supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment
