Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Midwife opportunity

We are looking for a part-time Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant or a Certified Nurse Midwife at our Rancho Mirage Health Center. As a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant or a Certified Nurse Midwife , you will play a critical role in providing quality healthcare to a diverse patient population. This will include exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counselling for patients in accordance with Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest protocols. This is a PART-TIME non-benefited position, with a 2 day/week schedule. Also please note: This position follows an unusual schedule. The role requires working 2 days per week (10 hour shifts, on a traditional schedule of 8 hours, so 2 hours each shift is paid at overtime rate). Also, the schedule requires every other Saturday. The Workweek Alternates As Follows Week A: 2 work days (Monday, Wednesday). Week B: 2 workdays (Monday, Saturday). This rotating schedule offers a consistent weekly rhythm while providing extended time off every other week. This role is considered Part-Time/Non-Benefited and is designed for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or a Certified Nurse Midwife licensed in the state of California. In This Role, You’ll Get To Change lives. Collaborate with other Healthcare providers, Physicians, and Management on patient care and clinical improvements. Partner with a Case Management team, which will communicate with patients on lab results, referrals, and other aspects of patient care. Gain new skills such as IUC retrievals, Nexplanon insertions, Cryotherapy, Bartholin Cyst I&D, and prescribe GAHT (Gender Affiming Hormone therapy).
