Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy, as required
• Valid California OT license
• Previous experience working in schools is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of the IEP process and ability to participate in meetings and documentation
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ OT needs in relation to school participation and performance
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, delivering services that help students achieve their IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success and generalize skills across school settings
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of evaluations, interventions, and progress, ensuring compliance with legal and school-specific requirements
• Contribute to IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations that best support each student’s needs
• Adapt strategies and interventions to diverse learning styles and environments
