Summary:

• Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee 2nd shift conventional machining operations in an advanced manufacturing environment.
• Lead and coordinate production activities to ensure quality standards, production goals, and delivery schedules are met.
• Supervise and support team leads, setup technicians, operators, machinists, and other production employees.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and employee development.
• Work collaboratively with management and other supervisors to resolve production challenges and maintain efficient operations.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily 2nd shift manufacturing operations in collaboration with the EDM Manufacturing Supervisor, ensuring production targets, quality standards, costs, and delivery schedules are achieved.
• Supervise, coach, and develop employees, including team leads, setup technicians, operators, and machinists. Provide constructive feedback, participate in performance reviews, and address employee performance concerns as needed.
• Monitor production processes, equipment, employee productivity, control charts, and ERP timekeeping entries. Identify issues, coordinate troubleshooting, and implement process improvements.
• Maintain responsibility for shift operations, including employee assignments, equipment, safety, housekeeping, and ensuring employees follow company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with management, engineering, and production teams. Support new product introduction, product development projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree preferred but not required.
• CNC Machining certificate from a trade school OR at least 7 years of acceptable work experience in lieu of formal schooling.
• 7+ years of experience in conventional machining or manufacturing preferred; aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
• 7+ years of leadership experience preferred, including experience supervising 15 or more direct reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
• Must meet the ITAR definition of a U.S. person under §120.15.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, make balanced decisions, and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and promote a collaborative team environment.
• Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods and occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
