Cocktail ServerA Cocktail Server is responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of cocktails and beverages to customers in a bar, restaurant, or event setting. This role involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring the quality of drinks, managing bar inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.This role pays an hourly rate of $2.13 and is tip eligible.Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.ResponsibilitiesMix and serve cocktails and other beverages according to recipes or customer preferences.Ensure that all drinks are prepared to a high standard and meet quality control guidelines.Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.Take drink orders and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.Monitor and manage bar inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.Keep track of alcohol and other beverage stock to prevent wastage and ensure availability.Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glasses, cleaning countertops, and disposing of waste.Ensure all bar equipment is functioning properly and report any issues for repair.Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding the serving of alcoholic beverages.Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to underage or intoxicated individuals.Process transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and making change.Maintain a cash register or point-of-sale system and ensure accurate reporting of sales.Work closely with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen personnel, to ensure smooth operation and high service standards.Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new drink recipes and service techniques.QualificationsPrevious experience in bartending or cocktail serving is often preferred but not always required.Familiarity with a wide range of cocktail recipes and techniques is advantageous.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers.Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.Attention to detail to ensure drink quality and accuracy in orders.Bartender's license or alcohol service certification may be required depending on local regulations.Food safety certification might be needed in some establishments.Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items, such as kegs or boxes of supplies.Good manual dexterity for mixing and serving drinks.Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused demeanor.Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
