Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility in Delray Beach, Florida. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life routine while serving our community. With a patient volume of 1-2 patients per hour, this role provides a focused and engaging environment where you can make a significant impact in each patient's recovery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the physical therapist, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Monitor and record patient progress, noting improvements or setbacks, and communicate these findings with the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises, self-care techniques, and the importance of adherence to therapy regimens.
• Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and complete.
• Participate in administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, managing patient intake, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the department.
• Ensure all therapy equipment is clean, well-maintained, and appropriate for use, conducting regular checks as needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a diverse population of patients recovering from various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and age-related impairments. As a PTA at Phyxable PT LLC, you will work closely with patients of all ages, understanding their needs and goals, and tailoring your approach to support their individual recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possess a current and valid PTA license in the state of Florida.
• Strong foundation in physical therapy principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits
