Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient mobility, strength, and physical limitations, while determining appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing manual exercises, deep tissue massage, traction, and other therapeutic techniques to alleviate pain and improve patient function.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment regimens to ensure maximum effectiveness.
• Guide patients through the recovery process, educating them on techniques for self-management, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications to prevent future injuries.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless transitions between treatment settings and refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Conduct discharge evaluations to determine the achievement of therapy goals, and provide recommendations for ongoing care and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility specializes in treating a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, and those experiencing chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Possess strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, enabling the formulation of effective treatment strategies.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation facility or a clinical setting focused on physical therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) for documentation and progress tracking.
• Specialized training in manual therapy techniques, sports rehab, or geriatric care is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, caseload, and certifications.
