Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor customized treatment plans for a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions, helping patients regain their mobility and strength.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and utilize cutting-edge software to objectively measure patient progress and outcomes.
• Accurately document treatment sessions, evaluations, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with facility policies and standards.
• Engage in regular assessments to understand diverse patient needs, adapting treatment approaches based on age-specific nuances and condition-specific requirements.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other health professionals to enhance patient care and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of patients, including those with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical conditions, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited program in physical therapy.
• A valid and current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida (temporary permit acceptable).
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Preferred Experience

Although not mandatory, applicants with experience in orthopedic patient care or those who have previously worked in outpatient settings will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
