Opened in 2018, Amira Choice Minnetonka is a 100 unit community that offers Independent and Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room food/meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Assisted Living Community, located in Minnetonka, MN. This nutrition services schedule includes:

• 64 hours per two weeks
• day/early evening shift
• every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident's specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 1 year experience
