Duration: Contract - 7 months

Pay Range: $22/hr (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations, and a proven ability to resolve customer inquiries and support accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accounts payable processing, including invoice review and payment execution.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including billing and cash application.
• Complete bank reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Answer customer inquiries and research problems or complaints to resolution.
• Create and edit spreadsheets to support accounting processes and reporting.
• Act as a lead for assigned tasks or small process areas.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Ability to research and resolve customer issues with accuracy.
• Competence with spreadsheets and data entry, including basic formulas and formatting.
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
• Familiarity with process documentation and workflow improvement.
