Program Manager, F-35 Maintenance Systems - Level 6

Job Description The F-35 Maintenance Systems Sustainment Program Manager is a key leadership position ensuring the readiness and effectiveness of the F-35 fleet by enabling effective aircraft maintenance aligned with contract objectives and F-35 strategic priorities. Responsibilities Program Execution: Manage cost, schedule, and technical delivery of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)/Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN) sustainment scope, including the contracted Maintenance Systems Foundation CLIN, future options, and proposals for future contract actions. Oversee lifecycle management from initial planning to final delivery. Requirements Definition and Change Incorporation: Coordinate across F‑35 Maintenance Systems and the Sustainment Program Management Office to integrate sustainment operations, governance, and requirements planning throughout the Maintenance Systems Change Proposal (MCP) cycle. Establishing Effective Program Plans: Develop and implement program plans that enable successful product sustainment from day one of fielding, ensuring readiness for operations and contracting alignment throughout the life cycle. Performance Improvement Initiatives: Identify and implement initiatives to improve ALIS/ODIN performance in the fleet through assessments, process improvements, and technology adoption. Strategy Development and Implementation: Identify customer and company priorities and orchestrate the keep‑sold strategy for F‑35 Maintenance Systems within the evolving business landscape. Basic Qualifications Program management experience Demonstrated business acumen, including experience with EVMS and performance metrics Strong risk and opportunity management skills Experience working with matrix organizations in executing and proposing programs Active Secret clearance with a completed investigation within the last five years Desired Skills Sustainment program management experience Experience influencing and driving results as a change agent Strategy development and implementation experience Experience identifying, influencing, and building strong relationships with decision makers and maintaining long‑term customer intimacy Strong communication and presentation skills, including ability to address complex matters and solutions with senior leaders Proven track record of supporting programs with large and complex systems Knowledge of the F‑35 Program and fifth‑generation fighter programs Experience working with international and military customers Security Clearance This position requires a government security clearance. Applicant must be a US Citizen. Secret clearance with investigation completed within the last five years. Work Arrangements Part‑time remote telework: The employee will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules Schedule for this position: 4 × 10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
