You will work independently from your home base, providing expert support for advanced CNC Lathes and Machining Centers. This is a hands-on role where you will be the "go-to" technical expert for our customers.What You'll DoTroubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues on CNC machinery.Install & Test: Perform post-installation testing to ensure optimal machine performance.Train & Educate: Conduct on-site training for customer operators on machine function, maintenance, and safety.Document: Accurately log service activity, diagnostics, parts, and resolutions.Travel: Manage a regional travel schedule with regular overnight stays to support customer sites.What You NeedEducation: 2-year technical degree (mechanical, electrical, or machine tool technology) or equivalent military technical experience or demonstrated experience in the maintenance field.Experience: Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment; proficiency with PLCs is a plus.Skills: Ability to read engineering drawings/schematics; skilled in using diagnostic tools (gauges, test indicators, force meters).Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; capable of working independently.Benefits & PerksCompetitive compensation package with overtime potential.Comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision).401(k) Retirement Plan with company match.Professional development and ongoing training on new technologies.
