Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage an active caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while strictly adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to discuss client progress, stability, and necessary next steps, including potential discharge planning when appropriate.

• Create, implement, and continually monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to meet client needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with agency requirements and standards.

• Execute comprehensive intake assessments to determine client needs and develop corresponding treatment strategies.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions on a weekly basis, utilizing evidence-based practices to address client concerns effectively.

• Engage in regular supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and receive constructive feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will include a diverse range of individuals from various backgrounds and demographic groups who may be experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family issues. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be pivotal in guiding clients towards recovery through personalized therapies and interventions, maintaining an emphasis on creating a safe space for healing and expression.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Possession of an active, unrestricted LPC license, allowing you to practice independently in New Jersey.

• Proficiency in using computer software, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for effective client management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers competitive annual compensation ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
