4-C has a great opportunity for a full time Certification Specialist. The Certification Specialist regulates in-home child care businesses. Our ideal candidate understands child care and speaks both English and Spanish.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Early Childhood professionals and enforce regulations by visiting their in-home child care businesses.
• Ensure equitable services by using Spanish/English skills in multiple programs. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must speak Spanish and English. Experience in the child care field in both languages is preferred.
• Associate degree and 2 years of experience or 4 years of prior experience in Social Work, Child and Family Studies, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skill
• Ability to understand complex regulations
• Ability to work occasional evenings
• Must provide own transportation in 9-county service area; reimbursement provided

JOB DETAILS

• $25-26 per hour depending on experience and skills
• Competitive benefits package including generous paid time off
• This position requires regular site visits in southern Wisconsin; administrative work can be done from home.
• Occasional evening work is required.

Salary/Compensation: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
