Staff Accountant

Are you a numbers wizard with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for keeping financial records crystal clear?Come join our team!We are looking for a Staff Accountant to help with our daily operations, streamline our month-end processes, and keep our projects moving forward smoothly. What You’ll Do: Prepare, post, and adjust journal entries to maintain accurate accounting logs. Review job billing status reports and ensure all projects are invoiced in a timely manner per contract requirements and specifications. Ensure timely delivery of all contract-required documents, including invoices/pay applications, lien waivers, certified payroll, and diversity reporting. Assist in closing the books, including calculating accruals and rolling forward balances. What We’re Looking For: 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and comfort with accounting software. Exceptional organizational skills, tight deadline management, and strong analytical skills. Experience in the construction industry and familiarity with Procore is a huge plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Selzer-Ornst Construction Company
