Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care

Schedule

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 40.00
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• At least five years of experience in a critical care setting: Required
• Cath Lab experience must include structural heart, vascular, diagnostic, impella, ECMO, and emergent cath cases: Required
• EPIC experience: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide patient care in a safe and healing environment.
• Assesses patient health and develops a plan of care to achieve desired outcomes.
• Implements care plans and evaluates the progress of patients.
• Provides education and support to patients and family members.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
