Days Left: 29 days, 3 hours left Apply Position: Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney Type: Fulltime Salary: $130k- $180k+ Benefits Location: New York, NY- Fully on-site; some flexibility for a hybrid arrangement Experience: 1+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience Interview Process: 2-3 Rounds Responsibilities:
- Manage and work on plaintiff personal injury files from inception through resolution
- Assist with and prepare matters for trial
- Conduct discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case preparation
- Work directly with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters
- Independently manage assigned files while receiving guidance from experienced attorneys
- Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and trial
- Analyze liability, damages, medical records, and case strategy
- Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions
- Assist with active trials and develop courtroom experience
- Maintain organized and timely case files
- Take increasing ownership of matters as experience develops
- At least 1 year of plaintiff personal injury experience
- Experience with personal injury litigation, preferably involving construction/labor law, auto, premises liability, or workplace injuries
- Trial experience or meaningful exposure to trial preparation is strongly preferred
- Strong interest in developing as a litigator
- Comfortable managing a busy caseload
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, motivated, and able to work independently
- Willingness to work closely with partners and learn from experienced trial attorneys
