A plaintiff personal injury lawyer in NYC handles cases for people hurt by others. This role requires at least 2 to 5 years of experience in motor vehicle accidents (MVA) and premises liability. Position Overview Title: Plaintiff Personal Injury Associate Attorney Location: New York, City, NY Experience: 2–5 years of New York plaintiff personal injury experience Practice Areas: Motor vehicle accidents (MVA), premises liability, trip/slip and fall, general negligence Key Responsibilities Manage an active caseload of personal injury files from pre-litigation to trial. Conduct client intake, initial case evaluations, and investigations. Draft pleadings, bills of particulars, discovery demands and responses, and motions. Appear for and conduct depositions (Examinations Before Trial - EBTs). Argue motions and attend court conferences in New York state and federal courts. Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense counsel. Prepare cases for trial, mediation, or arbitration. Qualifications & Skills Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active and in good standing license to practice law in the State of New York. Demonstrated hands‑on experience handling NYC motor vehicle accident and premises liability cases. Strong knowledge of New York Civil Practice Law and Rules (CPLR) and local court rules. Excellent writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills.
