Director of Social Media (Fully Remote)

• The Director of Social Media shapes how the Sierra Club appears on social media, using data and creative content to advance campaigns and engagement.
• This role manages a small team within a larger stakeholder group and builds systems for effective social media collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of the Sierra Club's social media identity and voice in partnership with cross-departmental stakeholders.
• Drive content strategies that respond to real-time trends and foster community engagement.
• Develop and manage a team of social media strategists, creatives, and content developers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience directing social media programs and teams, with a track record of using metrics to adapt strategies.
• Deep expertise with social platforms and analytics tools, and experience in environmental or social justice advocacy.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $150,000 annually.
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a retirement savings 401(k) plan.
