Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Alarm Patrol in LINCOLN, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of a caring, agile, and reliable team that values innovation, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful difference each day.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with hospital personnel and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with wayfinding and escort requests, and report security-related concerns in accordance with site expectations.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities with accuracy, and follow post orders and Allied Universal protocols while working in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
