Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit in LINCOLN, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in a dynamic environment.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, assistance requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations, helping to control access, document activity, and support a professional environment for all occupants.
- Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and relay important information to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
