Registered Nurse- 4 South Renal

Powers Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for 4 South Renal to work days at Community Hospital in Munster IN. 4 South Renal performs therapeutic treatments and cares for patients with various diseases diagnosis or conditions which include but are not limited to: Diabetes renal failure pneumonia electrolyte imbalance CVA cardiovascular-ASHD CHF Hypertension COPD Fever Dehydration Gastrointestinal conditions Wound infection and general surgical cases.

Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing directing communicating and documenting the nursing process.
• Provides a safe environment for patients visitors and associates.
• Practices in accordance with current established standards of care the Nurse Practice Act the Powers Health policies and procedures and supports the mission and philosophy of PH by providing the highest quality care.
• Provides for the well-being of the community services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values: dignity compassionate care community quality and stewardship.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• BSN preferred.
• Obtains and maintains current certification (ACLS) as required in specialty areas (Critical Care).
• Obtains and maintains current CPR.
