Junior Civil Engineer

Lansing Engineering, PC, a multi-disciplinary firm specializing in all aspects of land development, has immediate opportunities for early career civil engineers to support our land development team located in Malta, NY. Responsibilities will include: Working with multiple design teams to support civil design projects from concept planning through detailed design and construction Field work, including soil investigations and testing Preparation of project plans including but not limited to, general plans, grading plans, drainage plans, erosion and sediment control plans, profiles, signing and striping plans, and landscape plans Preparation of storm water management design, water and wastewater design, roadway and parking design and construction details and specifications Support in the preparation of technical reports Support in the preparation of application documents and agency coordination Construction administration support, including site visits Qualifications: Civil engineering tech degree required, bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred 0-3 years of experience Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software Technical writing and solid verbal and written communication skills Ability to work and interact effectively with project teams Salary will be based on applicants’ experience with a range of $65,000 to $80,000.
