The successful candidate will lead a novel, visible, comprehensive and data‑driven preventive cardiology and wellness program that integrates overcoming barriers to optimal care through lifestyle medicine, genetics, imaging and digital health to prevent and predict cardiometabolic disease. The position offers a robust and flexible mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities within a major university‑based Heart Institute. We serve a population of 1.7 million people in Suffolk County, with additional patients from the tri‑state region. MD, DO or MD/PhD (or foreign equivalent). Board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible/board certified in Cardiovascular disease. Additional training (eg. teaching and administrative responsibilities), certification (in echocardiography, cardiac CT/MRI), and those with training in preventive cardiology, lipidology, cardiometabolic disease, women's heart health, or digital health who aspire to help build a nationally recognized preventive program are encouraged to apply.
