Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in California. The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric acute care experience, required certifications, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responses to treatment, and progress.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient status, escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatrics RN experience
• Active California RN License
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous travel nursing experience
