You will ensure that room attendants deliver the perfect in-room experience and anticipate needs beyond the checklist. Responsibilities Serve as team lead for the entire housekeeping staff, assigning and reviewing work. Oversee critical tasks such as keeping staff on schedule, inspecting public areas and guest rooms for cleanliness, overseeing laundry, ensuring timely turnover of checkout rooms, and interacting with hotel guests in a polite and positive manner. Provide training and guidance for housekeeping staff on hotel Standard Operating Procedures and departmental standards. Keep purchasing costs and labor expenses in check. Qualifications We’re looking for someone with at least one to three years of related experience and a High School diploma or equivalent. But most importantly, you must be a people person and lead by example to create a positive team culture. A passion for customer service is essential. Job Conditions This position is far from sedentary. You will move around, stand/sit, carry/lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend/twist, climb stairs, and more. Varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
