The primary patient population consists of adult medical-surgical patients. Patients will be grouped with a primary nursing care model, with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-5 during the day and 1:5-6 during the night. In this unique environment, you will engage with various advanced technologies and facility design variations. Current projects include virtual nursing, ambient monitoring, and interactive patient experience platforms. The unit focuses on a diverse range of medical conditions requiring continuous ECG monitoring, including pulmonary diseases, infections, and gastrointestinal disorders. You will be expected to support necessary clinical procedures and innovations while delivering high-quality patient care. Weekend shifts are required, with expectations to work 4 weekends out of 8 in a 4-week period. Holidays are also part of the commitment, with a requirement to work a minimum of two major holidays. This position emphasizes collaboration within an interdisciplinary support team to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
