Patient Access Representative

Your future role at a glance Location: Indianapolis, IN Facility: St. Vincent Department/Specialty: Care Coordination Command Ctr Schedule: Full Time Days How you'll make an impact in this role Lead the patient intake | registration experience by expertly capturing demographic and insurance data, ensuring every patient record is accurate and ready for their visit. Orchestrate the daily clinical calendar by scheduling patient appointments with precision, maximizing provider time while ensuring patients are seen promptly. Support seamless treatment access by facilitating the insurance verification and authorization process so that patients can focus on their health rather than their coverage. Empower patients with clear communication by providing essential pre-appointment instructions and guidance, ensuring they arrive informed and prepared for their visit. What minimum qualifications you'll need Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. What additional requirements you'll need Strong preference for related experience to this role - especially in healthcare. Excellent Customer Service skills and experience and phone etiquette skills. Requires attention to detail, critical thinking, multi-tasking efficiently with the ability to prioritize and effectively communicate with physicians, team staff and other schedulers. Computer literacy and proficiengy in ability to type and effectively use office technologies.
