Registered Nurse II (RN II)

The Registered Nurse II delivers coordinated nursing care for patients or an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

This unit provides general acute care for a diverse mix of both medical and surgical patients, ensuring that the patient population does not exceed 65% medical or 65% surgical.

Deliver patient care in alignment with established standards and protocols.

Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff, ensuring effective and efficient care delivery.

Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
