HWIL Mechanical Engineer - P2

Raytheon seeks a skilled mechanical engineer to support the design and integration of test environments. The role requires familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, Creo Parametric, and a valid U.S. Secret security clearance. Responsibilities Work with various trades and designs for developmental programs within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization. Perform system design and integration activities within HWIL facilities. Learning Opportunities System level knowledge of developmental programs within HWIL. Advanced signal generation and presentation across IF and RF test environments. Experience working across a multi-disciplined group of engineers. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related STEM field. Experience using AutoCAD or Creo Parametric design tools. Active U.S. government issued Secret security clearance (not interim) and U.S. citizenship. Preferred Qualifications Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming, written and oral communication skills. Existing SSBI clearance. Experience in mechanical design or data analysis. Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers). Knowledge or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly, electronics maintenance. Familiarity with communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, CAN, 1553. Familiarity with software languages (Java, C, C++, Python, Perl) and MATLAB scripting for data analysis. Highly motivated with a positive attitude. Ability to work cross-discipline team. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
