Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating group therapy sessions that encourage peer connection and shared learning, providing a safe space for clients to discuss their experiences.

• Delivering individualized therapy sessions, where you will employ therapeutic techniques to explore clients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them to develop personalized coping strategies.

• Collaborating with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Monitoring and assessing client progress utilizing various assessment tools and methodologies, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Engaging in routine consultation with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, sharing insights, coordinating care, and discussing complex cases to ensure the holistic well-being of our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18-30 who are attending our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often encounters distinct challenges, including anxiety, depression, and transitional life issues. You will be instrumental in creating a safe and supportive environment where these individuals can thrive and recover.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• Proficiency in telehealth and familiarity with digital communication platforms that facilitate remote therapy sessions.

• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for the creation of a strong rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

WPS Behavioral and Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 – $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
