Position Summary

As the Senior Accountant, you will work closely with the CFO and the accounting team to deliver accurate financial data, analysis, forecasting, and operational insights that support key business decisions. You will interface with all levels of corporate, regional, and facility management, as well as external partners including auditors, bankers, consultants, and insurance brokers. This leadership role oversees the organization's treasury, accounting practices, fiscal records, financial reporting, and payroll/timekeeping systems. You will directly manage 1-5 accounting team members within the corporate office.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership & Reporting
• Produce monthly financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations.
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of all financial statements.
• Treasury & Banking
• Manage daily treasury operations.
• Oversee Bank Positive Pay and ACH approvals.
• Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 1-5 accounting office employees.
• Promote strong communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaboration & Strategic Support
• Provide financial analysis and insights to help drive revenue growth and cost management.
• Partner with facility leaders and corporate departments to support decisionmaking.
• Support external audits, tax preparation, and compliance activities.
• Work with outside consultants, bankers, insurance brokers, and public accounting firms.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting/financial experience.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of current labor laws and DOL regulations.
• Advanced proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office (Excel strongly preferred).
• CPA a plus, but not required.
