Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Cost and Inventory Accounting Senior Accountant with experience within Cost and Inventory accounting to assist with supporting financial reporting, monitoring of costs, internal valuation, helping develop and analyze costing models, inventory valuation, including WIP and raw and finished goods, maintain and ensuring audit readiness at all times. Support month, quarter and year end close. Perform or review account reconciliations related to inventory, cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, debt, leases. Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to track labor and overhead costs and ensure they are recorded in accordance with GAAP. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in accounting Experience in manufacturing or production environments with proficiency in cost accounting Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) Big-4 or Mid-Tier auditing experience and / or CPA license preferred Public Accounting foundation highly preferred and/or Pharma/Biotech Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred or other ERP experience Compensation and Benefits Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
