Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions and facilitate group therapy activities, both in clients' homes and during scheduled meetings at our outpatient center.

• Implement therapeutic interventions designed to enhance coping strategies, improve decision-making skills, and reduce high-risk behaviors in youth and their families.

• Collaborate with Child Family Treatment Team members and other professionals to develop cohesive treatment plans encompassing clients' diverse needs.
\n
• Complete and submit all required documentation within specified deadlines, including treatment plans, progress notes, and intake assessments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment efficacy, and share best practices with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support families, couples, and individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, with a focus on youth. Your expertise will assist in navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and interpersonal conflicts. By employing a strengths-based, holistic approach, you will empower clients to recognize and utilize their inherent strengths to work toward sustainable personal and relational improvements.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license is essential.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours, specifically from 4-7 PM.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are mandatory for conducting in-home therapy sessions.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required to ensure the safety of our clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience providing therapeutic services, particularly in a similar outpatient setting.

• Demonstrated experience in positive behavior support strategies and ways to improve family dynamics.
