Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to establish a patient's trauma history, mental health status, and appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop, implement, and monitor customized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, emphasizing resilience-building and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients with a safe space to process their trauma experiences and share coping techniques.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, peer support specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach that addresses all aspects of a patient's care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available coping mechanisms, and community resources, thereby empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience and practice in trauma-focused therapeutic services.
