Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: Derry, NH Employer: AAS Locum Tenens Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Locums Hospital Medicine Physician for an ongoing opportunity in Derry, New Hampshire. This position offers a flexible service-based schedule with additional coverage provided during higher-volume periods. Position Highlights Ongoing coverage; specific dates are flexible Multiple service options: Service A: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Service B: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Service C: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM When patient volume increases, all three services transition to 12-hour shifts Weekend coverage consists of two 12-hour services, with surge coverage as needed No fixed call rotation schedule Call Structure Service C: On call 7:00 AM–11:00 AM Service B: On call 11:00 AM–3:00 PM Service A: On call 3:00 PM–7:00 PM Once the assigned call period ends, physicians are not expected to be called or return to the hospital after their shift. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient hospital medicine care. Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients. Conduct rounds and develop treatment plans. Manage admissions, discharges, and cross-coverage as assigned. Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team. Respond to urgent patient needs during assigned coverage. Complete timely and accurate medical documentation. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active New Hampshire medical license Hospital Medicine experience preferred Ability to work flexible shifts and participate in service-based coverage
