Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team for coverage at Medical Offices in & surrounding areas of Denver, CO. 80220..

Work Schedule: 40 H/P/W: Monday - Friday, hours vary between 6:00am - 6:00pm, additional hours/days may be requested in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

• Process billing information and collect payments when required

• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

• Maintain patient and specimen information logs

• Provide superior customer service to all patients

• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 9 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

• 9 months or more experience with pediatric through geriatric patients

Additional Job Standards:

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

• Coverage for Denver Metro and 25 miles radius of surrounding areas

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments

• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

• Be at least 21 years of age

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

• Reliable transportation

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Exceptional customer service

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

* QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM * : Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
