Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide patient and family education, particularly regarding treatment plans and procedures.
• Conduct telephone triage to assess patient needs and direct appropriate care actions.
• Float to other UCSF facilities as needed to support patient care delivery.
• Recognize and communicate abnormal lab values to the healthcare team promptly.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary care strategies and ensure smooth care coordination across all channels.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN License and BSN required.
• AHA BLS certification required; OCN preferred.
• Minimum 3 years oncology experience, with Med/Surg Onc preferred.
• 5 years RN experience required, with proven ability to adapt to diverse healthcare settings.
• Experience with Epic charting system essential.
• Ability to work in a teaching hospital environment required.
