About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 18 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required. Preferred experience of 3 years in neurosurgery. License: Valid Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: AHA BLS certification required. Orthopaedic/Neuro Spine Nursing certification preferred. Must-Have: Competence and knowledge in neurosurgical nursing. Ability to float to other facilities as needed. Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in neurosurgery nursing. Responsibilities include performing assessments and physical examinations. You will administer medications and assist with treatment plans. You will provide patient education and support. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is important. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in medication reconciliation. You will also perform triage and follow-up communications with patients. You will be responsible for obtaining vital signs and lab specimen collections.
