True North Hotel Group , an award-winning management and development company, is seeking a Room Attendant to join our team at the Candlewood Suites in McPherson, KS. We offer awesome benefits and a great family culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for assisting all housekeeping personnel in the performance of heavy-duty work as directed by the Senior Housekeeper.
- Maintain the cleanliness of floors, fireplaces, ovens, elevators and landings, linen closets, guest laundry, exercise room, employee lounge and other public areas.
- Assist with the removal and cleaning of soiled linens.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stopping.
- Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk for an extended period of time.
- Required certifications and training for TIPS, ServSafe, health department and other required organizations according to local codes.
- Experience in hospitality is a plus.
