Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: LTAC Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a hospital setting, with 2 years recent Tele/LTAC experience License: Must hold a valid RN license Certifications: ACLS & BLS certifications required Must-Have: - Vent/trach experience - Must have certifications attached to resume - Must have Indiana or multi-state compact RN license Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the available staff. Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
