Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Learn more about GISI at Position Overview GISI is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to be responsible for assisting with reporting to key stakeholders, including executive management, board of directors, and external financial partners/counterparties. A critical aspect of this role is financial analysis to support capital allocation, cash, operating and strategic planning decisions in a dynamic environment. This position will also coordinate with business partners across GISI to ensure timely, accurate and reliable information is received and communicated, subsequently providing decision-making insights. The ideal candidate combines a strong analytical mindset with technical ability and excellent people and communication skills. Location This is a full-time role, based out of GISI’s New York City office. Flexibility in work schedule, with some early morning or evening meetings may be required occasionally to accommodate colleagues in various time zones. Reporting The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will report to the SVP of Finance (based in NYC) Job Duties / Responsibilities Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and materials for Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors, including: Three-year strategic plan Quarterly executive management reports and presentations Quarterly Board reports and presentations Support the development of reports, presentations, and financial materials for external stakeholders, including: Annual bank plan Rating agency presentations High-yield investor presentations Insurance presentations Quarterly lender compliance reporting Offering memorandums and presentations supporting refinancing activities Assist in the implementation and enhancement of business intelligence and dashboard reporting tools to improve data visibility and decision-making Support enterprise-wide forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes, including the consolidation and finalization of corporate plans and financial forecasts Conduct scenario analyses and financial modeling to support strategic and operational decision-making Support mergers and acquisitions activities, including onboarding and integration of acquired businesses Assist with the continued implementation and optimization of OneStream across operating companies Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance data quality across financial planning and reporting activities Support cash management activities through analysis of forecasted and actual cash flows Provide timely and accurate responses to ad hoc reporting, data requests, and financial analyses Qualifications and experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field Strong written and oral communication skills 7+ years of analytical / financial diligence experience FP&A experience in a public or large private corporate environment a plus High skill level in Excel and proficiency with Powerpoint, Power BI or Claude, and Word is required; OneStream, Netsuite and Oracle experience a plus Financial modelling experience is a plus A keen attention to detail and high level of accountability for quality deliverables Perpetual learner with strong curiosity and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude, and outward mindset Experience with construction and / or E&C professional services a plus Experience working with different cultures and various levels of management a plus Personally demonstrate behaviors aligned with GISI values and business priorities Compensation Base Salary: $175,000-$200,000, commensurate with experience Eligible for additional annual bonus: 15-20%+ Outstanding company-paid benefits include healthcare and 401(k) savings Eligible to participate in our success through employee stock purchase program EEO Statement GISI is an equal opportunity employer.
